With wavy rows, the knitted ripple grows and grows. It seemed at times that this blanket would never end. Part of the delay was my inexperience with knitting when I started. More delay with several moves. Finally, the last stitches have been bound off and the ends tucked in. The pattern is the very first one in Jan Eaton's Ripple Stitch Patterns book and is titled Blue Lagoon. Mine, of course, doesn't much resemble water lapping onto a shoreline. A friend suggested that it looked more like the zebra's fruit stripe gum. Perhaps she is right!

It's looking good...one of the reasons I don't make too many blankets..
