January Small Quilt

Last year I wasn't so great at keeping up with the goals that I set for myself. This year, I am attempting to be a little more organized. With the aid of a spreadsheet, I have listed things that I would like to achieve in 2013. Lists are great! There's something about checking things off on a to-do list that is so rewarding. Today, I was able to check off the first of twelve small quilts that I want to make this year.

The pattern is named Perfectly Provence and can be found in a magazine titled Small Quilts #48 Spring/Summer 2004. Due to a shortage of both the floral and green fabric, I opted to leave off the two borders and finish with a simple binding. My hand quilting needs work as does my piecing, but overall I am happy with how the quilt turned out.
